Description: Le Mojito rum bar is dedicated to celebrating the great Cuban heritage. Le Mojito is widely known as being La Rochelle's authentic Cuban bar featuring traditional Cuban cocktails, music, cigar smokers and salsa dancers.

The Mojito bar is the perfect place to sip a Mojito, a Caipirinha, or one of our other specialty drinks. While doing so, enjoy the background music of Celia Cruz, Gloria Stefan, and other Latin favorites.

With a Cuban theme running from the drinks through to the food, interiors and live music offering, le Mojito is inspired by Hemingway’s favourite, El Floridita in Havana.

The Mojito bartenders will make for you the Papa Hemingway's favorite cócteles Mojito, Daïquiri, Cuba libre or Cubata...
The one wishing to enjoy a more refreshing beer will do so with a bottle of El Grande.

Average drink prices will be 5 to 6 euros.

The salsa rhythms pouring out of the sound system at Le Mojito, La Rochelle's trendy Cuban bar willm keep you entertained.

Cuban music is a myriad of styles and genres, with a long history. While influences from Africa and Spain were predominant, Cuban music has also been shaped by the music of Europe, Latin-America and American pop music and jazz. All this wil be found at le Mojito.

You will travel to Cuba to the sound of the couloured rythms: Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha, Guaracha, Bachata, Regaton...

It is a good venue to see and hear Salsa Cubana, but the wood dance floor is quite small. Moving around the room becomes difficult when it fills. On Thursday nights the bar hosts the dancers of the Salsa Pimente association who perform very impressive salsa dance demonstrations.

This bar never disappoints.

In the 50s, El Floridita bar became the most famous in Havana, and one the most famous in the world and in 1953, Esquire magazine, called it one the world's seven best bars.
Since that time El Floridita is frequented by distinguished visitors to Havana, ranging from artists to official guests of the government. But US novelist, Ernest Hemmingway, winner of the Nobel Prize for literature, was the most assiduous of all. El Floridita was his favourite spot in Havana, during the more than 20 years he lived in the country.

To immortalize this, le Mojito created a nice comfortable lounge where you can relax and enjoy one of these fantastic cocktails. That's part of the Cuban way-of-life at le Mojito!

This bar is particularly appreciated by a 30-40 year-old clientele.
